Anon let me give you a situation:

Say I were make you a drawing. I’d ask what you wanted, how you would like it colored, and what not.
In the beginning, I would do exactly what you wanted but then I began to make changes. Changes you did not like.
Instead of changing them back so you would like it and this conversation would be over, I continue to change it how I would like it. Then I begin to color it. Not the colors you wanted, in fact, your least favorite colors and it looks horrid.
Now the drawing is nothing how you wanted it and you do not like it.
Would you say you don’t like it? Seeing as you were so pleasant as to send me this message, I would guess yes.
Instead of fixing it or making you a new one, I begin to yell at you and calling you names to make you feel horrible about not liking it.
This drawing is now no longer about you. It became about me.

This party was suppose to be about me and the struggles I went through to get to where I am now. And instead, my mom made it about her and turned it into a fucking one sided competition with my dad about who could throw the better party then threw a fit when I told her I didn’t like it and it was not what I wanted.

This weekend was suppose to be special for me.
But she’s made it nothing but horrible cause she didn’t want it not to be about her.
